Mapping & G.I.S.

Summit Forestry Services provides Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping services.

Mapping is done using ArcView software and Garmin Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) hand-held devices.  USGS 7½ minute maps can be used as a base map.  Color Digital Orthophotographs can be overlayed  to enhance and update the base map.

 Many types of information can be analyzed, added and shown on personalized maps.
