Summit Forestry Services (SFS) is a privately owned forestry consulting business.  Our clients include: small forest-land owners, environmental consulting companies, industrial timber companies, and the U.S. Forest Service.  

The owners and staff include: 

• Peter Walden – Registered Professional Forester (RPF) #2001 and California Agricultural Pest Control Advisor (PCA) #07770 with 32 years of experience in Forest Resource Management.  
• Karen Walden – a former USFS (Downieville Ranger District) forester and resource planner, with 13 years of Forest Resource Management experience. 

 SFS has been in business since January 1997.  Our commitment is to provide quality, cost effective, responsible, and professional forestry consulting services.  Client satisfaction and healthy forests are our goals. 

SFS is located in Grass Valley, California and has both local and “out of the region” clients.
